Currently is Managing Director of Consulta Abierta. He has worked as economist in the World Bank and in the International Monetary Fund, Chief Economist of the Organization of American States (OAS), European Commission Advisor and CEO of Ferrocarriles Argentinos.
He has advised in the macroeconomic field to the Board of Directors of the Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Bank of Miami, Kutxa de San Sebastián y Caja Madrid.
He has been consultant member of the Report of World Economic Outlook presented in Dubai IMF-World Bank 2003 Meeting.
He regularly writes for some leading newspapers as ABC and international financial press. Also, he collaborates as international economic expert in some radio stations as Intereconomía, Onda Cero (Carlos Herrera space), Radio de Galicia Radio and Radio Euskadi.
